I wonder from the beginning of the competition (actually started from the winter testing), why Hayden seems very confused and can't make his own decision about the bike he was testing, especially in Sepang-Malaysia in 2007. He raced hundreds laps and without any good confirmation from him about the new bike. Pedrosa was injured and finaly he was angry at Nicky by saying Nicky couldn't develop a bike... Hayden was upset of course, but he was doing quite well finally before the season 08 started.
What I ! saw then was that in Losail he switched back to his old bike, 2007 spec, he said he feels more comfortable on it and I could guess the result, he couldn't fight at all. After some races, finally he speaks out frankly about his REAL problem. He said,"I am not looking for excuses, I am just not yet managed to adapt my driving to 800. I'm not happy, for me, it is a hard period. At the end of 2007 I thought we had solved the problems, but I didn't".

The point is that his Honda is just not enough power ! for him to ride. He came from the culture of dirt track, he ne! eds to s lide the bike using gas. The shortfall in power enough to give him much in difficulty "
I think I can see the future now :) his current contract is about to expire at the end of the season, and Honda and him haven't sat on the same table to discuss about this matter, what I see is that he is probably going to Ducati which is beast in power and wild like a dirt bike, on the other hand, Ducati never hide their interest to sign him in 2009. Andrea Dovizioso is doing great this year and Dovi already 'cries' to Honda to partner him along with Pedrosa in 2009. I can understand why he is doing so, Lorenzo is Dovi's number one enemy in 250 cc, and it is no secret he really really want to beat him in the queen class.
