Tour boost as Lance returns


The Tour de France has just recieved possibly it's biggest boost in years, with yesterdays speculation getting confirmed.

Lance Armstrong has confirmed that he is getting back onto his bike, and he is determined to win an eighth Tour de France. He announced in an interview that that he was inspired to return after finishing second last month in the Leadville 100, a 160-kilometer mountain bike race through the Colorado Rockies, and he said it had kick-started his engine. His team and schedule will be announced on Sept. 24 at the Clinton Global Initiative in New York City.
